This position is responsible for researching membership information with the health plans, physicians' office, members and other entities to obtain accurate information.
Reviews and updates address/phone requests.
Updates Physician PCP ID based on place of residence.
Verifies eligibility.
Contacts members to verify address.
Contacts health plan to verify eligibility status.
Reviews and manages city spelling and zip code accuracy.
Complete other tasks as assigned by Management.
(10398) High school Diploma or equivalent.
1 year experience in medical office/healthcare setting, preferred.
Knowledge of insurance verification and HIPAA regulations, preferred.
Experience with EZ-Cap, Microsoft Office, Outlook and Crystal.
Current California driver license and proof of automobile insurance required.
