Palm Desert, CA Palm Desert, CA Full-time Full-time $17 - $20 an hour $17 - $20 an hour 18 hours ago 18 hours ago 18 hours ago ACCOUNT COORDINATOR POSITION OVERVIEW In this entry-level professional position, the Account Coordinator provides both administrative and creative support to the Account Executive, Events Manager and Director of Client Services.
The main role of an Account Coordinator is to coordinate new or existing accounts and provide Client satisfaction by optimizing revenue and encouraging account growth.
Helps coordinate scheduling, handles project activities, ensures client satisfaction, assists in project completion, and performs various tasks as assigned.
Incumbent is responsible for organizing project details and coordinating scheduling to ensure Client satisfaction and project completion.
Also assists Account Executives, Events Manager and the Director of Client Services in maintaining and nurturing healthy Client relationships.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

s and vendor invoices Responds to client requests in a timely manner Ensures client commitments are fulfilled on time Assists with all preparation of Client meetings Prepares monthly timesheet maintenance Prepares weekly status reports Prepares weekly meeting agendas Sends estimates to clients Reviews vendor quotes Proofreads (ads/ collateral, etc.
) Facilitates workflow by coordinating or gathering background information and/or resources needed to complete jobs Attend and work events as needed.
Coordinate off site necessities such as displays, contract obligations, signage requirements and logistics.
Coordinate with Social Media and Public Relations Departments, when necessary.
Contributes to Accounts and Events Team through planning, strategy, and content creation.
In charge of all swag and promotional inventory for Cord Media.
Attend weekly, monthly or, as needed, client and company meetings.
Participates in and documents discussions during Client meetings and conference calls Travel will be required at times.
Evening and weekend events will be required at times.
Flexible to changing policies and procedures, as well as varying deadlines.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE Bachelor's Degree from accredited university preferred OR 1 year at a related job at a different company OR 6 months working at Cord Media in another role LANGUAGE SKILLS Excellent written and verbal communication required.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts and percentages.
REASONING ABILITY Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
REQUIRED TECHNICAL / OTHER SKILLS / LICENSES Working knowledge of computers and most commonly used business software, to include:
Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Since driving a vehicle during the scope of employment is necessary, incumbent should possess a valid California driver's license and carry automobile liability insurance that meets or exceeds State requirements.
A clear Motor Vehicle Record is required.
Updated MVR's may be periodically collected.
Thorough understanding of graphic design, video production, print production, media and the creative process.
Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills with clients.
Ability to travel, if necessary, to client meetings, trade shows and other events.
Displays professional conduct within and outside office when conducting agency business.
Excellent time management, organization and prioritization skills.
Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
