Vice President of Operations General:
As a key member of the leadership team, the Vice President of Operations will participate regularly in evaluating and establishing standards and compliance tomulti-state operations.
The Vice President will have significant interaction with their management teams and will play a key role in meeting company standards, profitability, expansion, customer satisfaction and staff development.
The role requires the ability to maintain flexibility, develop fluid plans, and understand the need to change priorities.
The need to foster teamwork within operations, engineering, quality, and sales is a vital expectation.
This position reports directly to President with dotted line to Executive Vice President.
The office is located in Coachella Valley.
The position required 80% time in the field (including out of state) and 20% in the office.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Oversee all aspects of operations, including supply chain management, food safety, and guest satisfaction.
Ensure overall operations maintains or exceeds weekly budgeted variable operation profit by controlling cost of goods & variable labor.
Develop and manage the operational budget, ensuring financial targets are met.
Monitor key financial metrics and analyze guest experiences across all districts.
Identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost optimization; implement strategies to maximize profitability.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as state and federal regulations.
Make tough decisions regarding all performance issues; address poor performance; Hold DMs and GMs accountable, coach and develop leadership teams.
Participating in various onsite meetings with the District Managers and General Managers to communicate and support company goals, decisions, and directives; follow-up with DMs and GMs to ensure understanding.

This role is designed to evolve as needed to support and drive the business through operational excellence.
Collaborate with the executive team to set goals, objectives, and key performance indicators to measure and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
This position requires superior communication, organizational, people and follow-up skills.
Build and lead a dynamic operations team and set an example as a leader, coach, and mentor.
Qualifications and Requirements:

years of progressive experience as a multi-unit/area manager role of a well-recognized restaurant chain Excellent interpersonal skills and collaborative management skills.
Ability to lead and motivate teams.
Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written, verbal communication, and organization is a must.
Proficient knowledge of computers and related software applications (Microsoft Outlook, excel, Powerpoint, internet/web portal applications, etc.
), and phone-based apps.
Time management, organization, planning, delegation, teaching, scheduling and coaching Hires, recognizes, retains, motivates, trains and develops quality employees at all levels Ensures employees are knowledgeable, properly trained and certified across all workstations, to maximize aspects of guest service and cost controls Familiar with local market; knows each store location and how it fits into surrounding community Integrity, energetic, ethical values, responsible, follow-through and adherence to company policy Generates community outreach and marketing strategies that meet the needs of each location Knowledgeable in current and possible policies, practices, trends and technology affecting the company; knows competition; aware of how strategies and tactics land in the market Maintains a safe and secure operation for employees and guests Promptly responds to all communications (calls, emails, texts, voicemails) within 24 hours.
Food Handlers Card and strong understanding of food safety regulations and compliance requirements Requires ability to speak, read, and write effectively in English Bilingual applicants preferred.
Physical Demands:
This position requires standing, walking, and bending.
Ability to stand and walk approximately 85%-95% of shift.
Ability to lift and carry 10-50 lbs; ability to move freely throughout the restaurant; ability to operate restaurant equipment.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Frequent travel to operating states either by vehicle or airplane.
Ability to work in front of a computer for extended periods of time.
Valid certification to drive a motor vehicle.
