Please note that being bilingual (especially fluent in Spanish) is highly preferred.

Job duties:
All employees at Go Healthcare are cross trained in various departments, as we find the best employees are the most thoroughly trained ones.
So, while this position pertains primarily to the Front Desk & Therapy departments, please understand that you will also be learning other posts in the office as well.
Front Desk includes but is not limited to:
Greeting patients, scheduling appointments, taking payments &/or setting-up payment plans, learning medical insurance protocols, light chart documentation, filing/faxing/emailing etc.
, opening/closing daily procedures, recording of statistics, handling of new patients, patient follow-up calls, new patient lead calls, patient record requests, light inventory, basic cleaning/disinfection protocols.
Therapy Assistant includes but is not limited to:
handling the therapy area (putting patient on/ taking patient off therapies, explaining therapies to patient, notating patient chart, directing patients to various rooms/providers), Cleaning/Disinfecting protocols (includes other areas besides the therapy room), Durable medical equipment (includes disbursing, form fill, fitting, and ordering), Assisting healthcare providers Job requirements:
Number 1 thing is to be a very energetic, enthusiastic, and high tone individual.
You are the first face of Go Healthcare that our patients see, it is imperative to always put your best foot forward.
Must be able to physically move quickly in a fast-paced setting and able to multitask well.
The Medical Office Assistant is a master multi-tasker whose physical pace can/will determine the flow of the rest of the office.
Must be a confident and caring person.
This post requires heavy face to face patient interaction and our patients are accustomed to high quality customer service from our employees.
Must have flexibility with coming in earlier or staying later if needed, especially during season.
Paid training is provided for this post.
No previous medical office experience required.
Medical Assistant certification is a plus.
Must have reliable transportation and able to show up On-Time with no Excessive Absences.
Moderate to excessive absences &/or showing up late WILL NOT be tolerated.
