The gallery was located in Bergamot Station in Santa Monica, CA for fourteen years.
Skidmore is known for realism, especially photorealism, and a large number of the artists represented are female.
Duties - Assist with the day-to-day operations of the gallery, including opening and closing the space.
- Greet and engage with visitors, providing information about the artwork and exhibitions.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the gallery space.
- Assist with event planning and coordination.
- Handle sales transactions and assist with inventory management.
Qualifications - Strong interest in art and knowledge of contemporary art practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Knowledge of interior design principles and concepts.
