The Cancer Center Nurse Practitioner will work within a Comprehensive Cancer Program, and will play a crucial role in the lives of all the patients.
The Hematology Oncology Nurse Practitioner will report to the Cancer Center Administrator and collaborate with a team of 10 other Nurse Practitioners, Clinical Coordinators, Nursing Staff, and Social Workers will support the Oncology Medical Director.
The Inpatient Oncology Nurse Practitioner will be working with patients suffering from a number of types of Cancer, and are responsible for making each patient comfortable, motivated and understanding of the treatment plan.
The patient population of the unit is highly unique and specialized, with a variety of Cancer prognosis.
The Inpatient Oncology Nurse Practitioner will work alongside with the hospital's expert oncologists, surgeons, nurses, and many other ancillary staff that specialize in not only the diagnosis but also the treatment of cancer.
