Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Credentialing Specialist to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have experience in medical office settings and possess knowledge of managed care, medical terminology, and industry standards.
Job Duties - Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements - Mantain copies of current state licenses, DEA certificates, malpractice coverage and other required credentialing documents for our providers - Verify provider credentials, licenses, and certifications - Maintain accurate and up-to-date provider files and databases - Communicate with providers and insurance companies to resolve credentialing issues - Assist in preparing reports related to credentialing activities Qualifications - Associates Degree preferred, High School diploma, or GED required - Tech Savy - able to learn new programs or software easily - Proven experience as a Credentialing Specialist or similar role in a medical office setting - Familiarity with managed care organizations and credentialing processes - Knowledge of medical terminology and industry standards - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Conditions The physical demands described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
