Planning and directing production activities and priorities, including revisions as a result of equipment failure or operating problems;
Ensuring optimum production and utilization of resources by coordinating production activities with procurement, maintenance, and quality control departments;
Reviewing and analyzing reports to determine causes of nonconformity;
Developing cost controls and budget;
Interviewing, hiring and training employees;
Personnel performance management and problem resolution.

EDUCATION: 4-year degree required.

6+ years of operations management experience;
Food manufacturing experience preferred;
Strong supervisory experience;
Excellent interpersonal, communication, writing and presentation skills;
Strong mathematics and problem solving skills;
SAP experience is a plus;
Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
