Leading and developing personnel and technical procedures within the plant Quality department;
Ensuring product and service quality including ingredient and packaging control, product testing and clearance, product disposition system and rework control, GLP, HACCP, weight control, aged inventory policy;
Developing and leading the plant Quality Improvement Program;
Managing the plant Quality Management System Program (SQF);
5-10% Travel.
EDUCATION: 4-year degree is required.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
4
years of experience in food processing quality and technical leadership;
Proven ability to recognize, prevent and/or solve quality and technical matters in a food plant environment;
SQF Certification preferred;
Experienced in ingredient and packaging control, product testing and clearance, product disposition system and rework control, GLP, HACCP, weight control, aged inventory policy;
Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
