We're looking for a Medical Records Clerk to join our team.
You will report directly to the Executive Director or Administrator.
You will be responsible assuring that competed record meet all regulatory and compliance standards.
Maintains medical records in accordance with regulatory and compliance standardsAssures appropriate release of information from Hospice Care to other parties, to include obtains signed authorizations and copies of medical information requestedWorks with clinical staff to assure timely and appropriate admissionsDevelops and maintains a master patient indexProvides agency administrative support to include answering phones, ordering supplies, date collection and entryHigh School Diploma or GEDThree years' of experience in office work of working in medical records departmentMust be able to effectively operate office equipment to include computer or tabletExcellent organization, record keepin, filing, typing skills; good oral and written communication skills; documentation managementMust be able to demonstrate flexibility by performing a variety of tasks, often changing from one to another of a different nature without loss of efficiency or composureComprehensive Benefits Package:
